Watercolor workbook is a beginner's guide to watercolors. You don't need any prior knowledge, painting or drawing skills. All you need it watercolors, watercolor paper, a brush, and water!

I have come up with a fun and simple concept. Watercolor workbook. In the course we create a reference book, that will inspire you and help you get familiarized with your watercolors. Whichever direction you decide to go from here, you'll have a beautiful watercolor book that you created.

Do you have very little time for painting and developing new skills?

I can relate. I'm a stay at home mom, I work from home, and am an occasional student with a busy schedule. I also scrapbook and art journal, but watercolors have become my passion. I don't have as much time to paint and perfect my skills as I would like. That is one of the main reasons I created this class. Follow the lessons at your own pace. They are all simple and fun.

The first step of painting with watercolors, is getting to know our supplies. I'll show you lots of fun ways to swatch your paints. Then we'll move on to color wheels, and dive into some color theory and color mixing. You will learn how to mix secondary, tertiary and beautiful neutrals colors. After all that watercoloring fun, we will assemble our workbook!

About Watercolor Workbook 2:

Watercolor Workbook 2 Color Magic is the second installment of the Watercolor Workbook Series.

In the first workbook we just had fun swatching colors and mixing them. In this class we dive deeper into color mixing, color choices, color schemes and adding details and depth to our paintings. This is not a color theory class. This is a hands on, have fun and play workshop.

This class is suitable to watercolor enthusaists. One should be familiar with the medium of watercolors, basic techniques as well as theoretical color mixing and color theory.

Like all my classes, Watercolor Workbook 2 includes step by step tutorials, filmed in HD, all available immediately upon enrollment, and can be downloaded.

We start with some warm up exercises, getting to know our brush, mixing color techniques and adding intensity, all in a playful way, filling our sketchbooks with fun sketches. We then move on to a more in depth look at different color schemes strategies and finally explore one of my favorite color combos- complementery colors.

Supplies needed for the class are - watercolors, brush, good artist grade 100% cotton watercolor paper (good paper is essential), I love working in a journal, but it's not obligatory.

My goal in all my classes is to bring you inspiration and help you find joy in your creative time. I want you to feel free to try new things, be brave with color, use watercolor with ease, not get frustrated, and end up with fun colorful pages in your sketchbook. Take your time, play, be mindful of the choices you make and what lights that spark for you, that special color or color combo that makes you happy. The more you get to know yourself and your watercolor preferences, the more likely you are to paint and sketch things you love.
